Praise For The Leftovers

Not everything made it.
Some dreams are gone.
Some chapters are closed.
Some relationships have faded into the past.

But you’re still here.
You’re still standing.
You still have something.

And if you have something,
you have a reason to worship.

Because the same God who fed five thousand with a boy’s lunch
also had leftovers.

John 6:12 says,
“Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.”

Your life still has leftovers.
Faith that didn’t crumble.
Peace that didn’t shatter.
Hope that refused to die.

And here’s the truth:
The enemy didn’t just want your abundance
he wanted your all.
But God said, “No. This part is Mine.”

So today, don’t just mourn what was lost
magnify what was kept.

Lift your hands over the pieces in your basket.
Sing over the fragments.
Dance over the faith that’s still beating in your chest.

Because worship over the leftovers
tells heaven you trust Him to multiply again.
It tells hell you will not bow to loss.
It tells your own soul that God is not done.

Psalm 34:1 says,
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

All times
when you’re overflowing,
and when you’re holding fragments.
When you’re on the mountaintop,
and when you’re sweeping up what’s left.

Because the God who preserved this much
can rebuild the rest.
