Even fire
wild, holy, Heaven-breathed fire
needs tending.
Because no matter how faithful you are,
how deep your yes runs,
you were never meant to burn alone.
Elijah called down fire from heaven
but ended up in a cave right after.
Why?
Because miracles don’t cancel human need.
You can carry the presence of God
and still ache for people who see you.
You can preach and pray and pour out
and still long for someone to ask,
“But how’s your heart?”
And God, in His mercy, sends help.
He sends Aaron to Moses.
He sends Ruth to Naomi.
He sends Jonathan to David.
He sends those who carry water
to those who are still burning.
Galatians 6:2 says,
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
This is kingdom
not solo flames flickering in corners,
but fires gathering in circles,
keeping each other lit.
So when the fuel runs low,
don’t be afraid to let someone in.
When your arms get tired,
let someone hold them up.
When the light you carry has cost you so much
let others bring oil.
You don’t need a crowd.
You need the called.
You don’t need fans.
You need fire carriers.
And when they come, receive them.
Don’t push them away out of habit.
Don’t shrink back out of shame.
Open the door.
Let them in.
Let the burden be shared
so the fire can grow stronger.
Because revival isn’t one flame, it’s many.
And what God started in you
was never meant to stay in you.
It was meant to multiply.
So breathe deep.
Help is coming.
Some are bringing wood.
Some are bringing wind.
And some
are coming just to sit near the flame and say,
“You don’t have to burn alone anymore.”
