Heaven Saw That

You prayed, and no one knew.
You gave, and no one said thank you.
You forgave in private.
You served without recognition.
You showed up when it was hard,
loved when it wasn’t returned,
obeyed when it cost you everything.

And maybe earth didn’t notice.
But heaven did.

Matthew 6:4 says,
“Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

He saw the meal you dropped off.
The text you sent.
The boundary you set.
The worship you lifted when you were still bleeding.

You don’t serve for applause.
You serve because you’re loved.
You pour because you’re filled.
You keep showing up because you were never doing it for them.

You were doing it for Him.

And He’s not unjust.
He’s not forgetful.
He’s not distracted.
He’s watching, and writing it all down.

So if the crowd never claps,
if the room never roars,
if the mic is never handed to you
keep going.

Because some of the loudest yeses
are whispered in obedience.

And one day,
when the world has moved on,
you’ll hear the only affirmation that ever mattered:
“Well done, My good and faithful servant.”

So don’t stop.
Don’t shrink.
Don’t wait for someone to validate what God already confirmed.

Heaven saw that.
And that’s enough.
