For The Ones Yet To Burn

If the fire dies with us,
it was never revival—
it was just a flash.

Because revival isn’t proven by the noise in a moment.
It’s proven by the fruit in the next generation.

We aren’t just called to carry fire—
we are called to pass it on.

Psalm 78:6 says,
“So the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.”

That’s legacy.
It’s when your fire becomes their foundation.
When your prayer life becomes their inheritance.
When your secret place becomes their starting point.

You may never hold a microphone,
but if your children burn for God—
you lit a revival.

If your obedience births hunger in someone younger,
you’ve preached a gospel louder than any sermon.

And here’s what legacy requires—
not just fire, but faithfulness.
Faithfulness when it’s unseen.
Faithfulness when it’s slow.
Faithfulness when you won’t live to see the full harvest.

Because what you plant in tears,
your children may reap in fire.

So teach them to pray when no one’s looking.
Show them how to build altars with scraped knees.
Let them see you forgive quickly.
Worship fully.
Love deeply.
And repent openly.

That’s what plants glory into the ground.

Legacy says,
“I’m not just trying to run my race well—
I’m handing off the baton burning.”

Because revival is never about one generation.
It’s a river—flowing through generations who said yes.

So light the torch.
Raise the standard.
And when they ask why you’re still burning,
say, “Because someone before me did—and I refuse to let it die here.”
