The Worship Belongs To Him

Worship isn’t the warm-up.
It’s not the emotional part.
It’s not the part we do before the “real” message begins.
Worship is the message.
And the only audience is God.

Not the crowd.
Not the worship leader.
Not the people in the room.
Just Him.

Because true worship doesn’t seek to be seen.
It longs to see Him.
To behold His beauty.
To honor His name.
To pour out oil, whether the room is full or empty.

John 4:23 says,
“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him.”

God is not looking for perfection.
He’s not looking for performance.
He’s looking for truthful hearts and surrendered spirits.
He’s looking for worship that costs something.
Worship that comes from the midnight hour.
Worship that’s born out of devotion, not convenience.

This worship isn’t for the stage.
It’s for the throne.

Because when you’ve seen His face,
When you’ve felt His presence,
When you’ve heard His whisper in the middle of the wilderness,
You don’t sing to be moved.
You sing because you’ve been marked.

This worship is not about what I get.
It’s about giving Him what He’s worthy of,
Everything.

Like the woman who broke her alabaster jar.
She didn’t save it.
She didn’t measure it.
She didn’t hold back.
She poured it all out at His feet.

Why?
Because pure love can’t be contained.
Because true worship doesn’t count the cost, it counts Him worthy.

It doesn’t require a perfect voice.
It just requires a pure heart.

Sometimes it sounds like a song.
Sometimes it looks like silence.
Sometimes it feels like weeping.
Sometimes it’s dancing.
Sometimes it’s just lifting your hands when everything in you feels tired, but you still choose Him.

That is worship.
And He is worthy of it.

Worthy in the valley.
Worthy on the mountain.
Worthy when we feel Him close.
Worthy when we feel nothing at all.
Worthy when we understand.
Worthy when we don’t.

Because worship isn’t a feeling, it’s a response to who He is.

And He has never changed.
He has never failed.
He has never been anything less than holy.

So let this be our posture,
Hearts bowed low.
Hands lifted high.
Eyes fixed on Jesus.
Oil poured with no reservation.

Let heaven hear that we don’t worship for us.
We worship for Him.
And this worship?
It belongs to no one else.
