I used to pray for rescue.
For comfort.
For someone to see me.
To fight for me.
To speak up.
To lead me when I was lost and to believe in me when I couldn’t believe in myself.
And now?
I’ve become what I once needed.
And it humbles me every time.
Because somewhere, someone is crying the same kind of prayer I once cried.
And God is sending me.
Not because I’m perfect.
Not because I have it all together.
But because I’ve been willing.
Because I said yes when it cost me.
Because I let Him use what I thought disqualified me.
And now I know,
I am someone’s answered prayer.
Someone is waiting for the wisdom I’ve paid for in tears.
Someone is watching how I walk through this season.
Someone is being fed by the fruit of the healing I chose.
Someone is holding on… because I didn’t let go.
Isaiah 6:8 says,
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”
That’s the posture.
That’s the assignment.
Not just to pray for God to send help,
But to become it.
To show up with a word in season.
To listen when everyone else walks away.
To call someone higher when they’ve settled.
To hug them like heaven.
To see the gold under the rubble and remind them, they are not too far gone.
You don’t need a title to carry glory.
You don’t need a pulpit to carry power.
You just need a yes.
Because someone is praying for peace right now,
And you walk in with it.
Someone is praying for clarity,
And your words bring it.
Someone is praying for love,
And your presence becomes it.
You are not just showing up.
You are being sent.
And maybe that’s the greatest miracle of all,
That the same God who heard your cry,
Now uses your voice to answer someone else’s.
So don’t downplay your story.
Don’t discredit your healing.
Don’t silence your testimony.
Because it might be the very thing that helps someone breathe again.
You are the answered prayer for a soul that’s on the edge.
You are the light in someone’s darkest hallway.
You are proof that God hears, God restores, and God still sends help.
You are someone’s sign.
You are someone’s reminder.
You are someone’s breakthrough in human form.
You are the answer.
Not because of who you are,
But because of who you belong to.
