There’s Glory In The Right Now

I’ve spent a lot of time looking ahead.
Praying for the next step.
Believing for the breakthrough.
Waiting for the moment when everything I’ve carried in faith finally comes to pass.

But lately, Jesus has been whispering to me:
“What about right now?”

Not the future you’re hoping for.
Not the promise you’re still waiting to see.
But the right now, the breath in your lungs, the grace in your day, the peace you never used to have, the healing that’s already begun.

We get so focused on what’s coming that we miss what’s already here.

And the truth is… this season, this quiet, in-between, stretching season?
It’s holy.

Because there’s glory in the right now.
There’s purpose in the pause.
There’s beauty in the middle.

You’re not who you used to be.
You’re not where you started.
And even if you’re not yet where you’re going, God is already moving.

You prayed for peace? Look around.
You asked for strength? You’re still standing.
You cried for clarity? You’re seeing clearer than you ever have.
You wanted healing? It may not be finished, but it has begun.

Psalm 118:24 says,
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Not just the day the blessing comes.
Not just the day the breakthrough arrives.
This day. This moment. This season.

There is something sacred happening in your “right now.”
Don’t rush past it.
Don’t overlook it.
Don’t underestimate what God is doing quietly while the world isn’t watching.

There’s praise in the progress.
There’s joy in the journey.
There’s freedom in realizing that you don’t have to arrive to be grateful.
You just have to be awake.

Awake to the small miracles.
Awake to the daily grace.
Awake to the hand of God that has never stopped holding you, even in the waiting.

So today, I’m not striving.
I’m not racing.
I’m not complaining about what hasn’t come.

I’m celebrating what is.

I’m looking around at all that God has already done,
And I’m saying thank You.

Because I’m still here.
Still healing.
Still hoping.
Still becoming.

And if He’s this good in the middle,
Imagine what’s coming next.

But for today,
I’ll praise Him in the right now.
