Faith In The Fog

Abraham heard God say,
“Go… to the land I will show you.” (Genesis 12:1)
But notice, God didn’t hand him a map.
He didn’t give him a timeline.
He just said, “Go.”

Faith doesn’t need all the details
it just needs the direction.

Stepping into the unknown is never comfortable.
Fear whispers,
“What if you fail?
What if you fall?
What if this isn’t God at all?”

But faith whispers louder,
“What if this is the door to destiny?
What if this is the miracle?
What if God’s glory is waiting on the other side?”

Joshua 1:9 declares,
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

That’s the promise.
Not that it will be easy,
not that you’ll always feel ready,
but that you’ll never walk alone.

The unknown isn’t empty space
it’s occupied by God’s presence.
The fog isn’t danger
it’s just a covering until you’re ready to see what’s ahead.

And the truth is,
courage doesn’t mean you don’t feel fear.
It means you step forward anyway
with your knees knocking,
but your heart anchored in Him.

So take the step.
Send the yes.
Walk through the door.
Even if you can’t see the whole staircase,
trust the One who laid every step before the foundation of the world.

Because on the other side of your fear
is the fulfillment of your faith.
And when you look back,
you’ll see that what felt unknown to you
was always known to Him.
