Trusted To Carry It

It’s one thing to pray for the promise
it’s another to be trusted to steward it.

God doesn’t just release blessings
He releases assignments.
And some doors don’t open until your posture can carry the weight
of what you’ve asked Him to send.

You prayed for influence.
Can your character carry it?
You asked for increase.
Will your heart remain low?
You cried out for impact.
Will your voice still echo His?

Because stewardship isn’t just about maintaining a blessing
it’s about multiplying it for His glory.

Luke 12:48 says,
“To whom much is given, much will be required.”

It’s not a threat.
It’s a holy invitation.
God wants to give you more
but He wants to make sure it doesn’t steal you from Him.

Think of Joseph.
He dreamed as a boy
but didn’t lead until prison taught him humility.
Think of Esther.
She was crowned queen
but didn’t save her people until she learned to risk comfort for calling.

And Jesus?
He carried the entire weight of the world,
but never let the crowds distract Him from the Father.

You see, the question isn’t just: “Are you ready to receive?”
The question is:
“Are you ready to carry it in a way that honors Me?”

When the platform comes,
will you stay surrendered?
When the blessing arrives,
will you give it back in worship?
When the influence grows,
will you still be found in the secret place?

Because God doesn’t just anoint those who are gifted
He anoints those who can be trusted.

So let Him keep shaping you.
Let Him keep pruning you.
Let Him dig deep now
so when the harvest comes,
your roots are too deep to be shaken.

You’re not just about to receive.
You’re about to carry.
And heaven believes you can.

  1. So we don’t fall in the trap of “be careful what you ask for” we must be in tune with what God wants, then we can ask and receive rightly. Nicely done!
