You said yes again.
Not because it was easy
but because God didn’t let the fire die.
But even as the vision grows,
there are moments you flinch.
Moments when the echo of yesterday’s betrayal, burnout, or breakdown
tries to convince you
you’re not whole enough to lead forward.
But hear this in the marrow of your bones:
Scars don’t disqualify you
they confirm you’ve survived.
Jesus rose from the grave with nail prints still showing.
He didn’t hide the wounds
He revealed them.
“Touch My side. See My hands. Know it’s Me.” (John 20:27)
Why?
Because resurrection isn’t about forgetting the pain
it’s about overcoming it.
You don’t have to pretend you were never dropped.
You just have to keep walking with the One who picked you back up.
This new vision isn’t birthed in denial.
It’s born through healed places.
Through honesty.
Through the groan and the glory.
Yes, the scar reminds you where you’ve been
but it also proves you made it.
And now you get to build what others thought would never rise.
Isaiah 61:4 says,
“They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated.”
They.
Not perfect people.
Restored people.
You.
So lead with the limp.
Cast vision with the voice that once cracked.
Speak life from the lungs that once screamed in silence.
This next move of God isn’t coming through polished leaders.
It’s coming through scarred revivalists
who know the price of obedience
and said yes anyway.
And as you walk forward
don’t hide the scars.
They’re not shame.
They’re evidence.
Proof that what tried to kill you
didn’t get the final word.
God did.
And He’s still writing.
