The storm tried to bury you.
Tried to silence your voice.
Tried to convince you that all you’d ever be was a survivor.
But what the enemy sent to break y
God used to build a legacy.
You didn’t just come through.
You came through changed.
And now, everything after you gets to live different.
Psalm 102:18 says,
“Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.”
That means your healing isn’t just for you
it’s a declaration for the unborn.
A blueprint for the next.
A lighthouse for the lost.
A covering for the children yet to know their own strength.
You could have passed on the pain.
But you chose to break the pattern.
You chose to get help.
To tell the truth.
To forgive.
To stand in freedom.
And because you did, what used to be normal dies with you.
You are the hinge in the family line.
You are the intersection between what was and what will never be again.
They may not know your full story.
But they’ll live in the peace you fought for.
They’ll grow under the prayers you whispered in the dark.
They’ll flourish in soil you wept over.
Because your yes to God planted a tree
they will one day rest under.
And the beauty?
This legacy won’t have your name on it
it will have His.
Because He’s the One who brought you through.
Who turned graves into gardens.
Who made sure the curse didn’t carry.
Who made sure the broken line ended with breakthrough.
So walk tall.
Walk free.
Walk forward.
You are not just a survivor.
You are a seed-bearer, a curse-breaker, a legacy builder.
And this
this is just the beginning.
