Some of the fiercest battles come right after the breakthrough.
Not because you’re doing something wrong
But because you’re finally doing something right.
Obedience will cost you comfort.
Anointing will attract attack.
And elevation will put a target on your back.
But don’t be afraid of the fire.
The fire means you’re marked.
Jesus never said the journey would be painless.
He said it would be worth it.
In Matthew 4, Jesus had just been baptized.
The heavens opened.
The Father affirmed Him: “This is My beloved Son.”
The Spirit descended.
And then?
The Spirit led Him into the wilderness to be tested.
Right after the glory, the war.
Because what gets confirmed in the water
must be tested in the wilderness.
Spiritual warfare isn’t proof that you’re failing.
It’s confirmation that you’re dangerous to darkness.
Ephesians 6 doesn’t say “If” the day of evil comes.
It says, “When.”
And then it tells you to stand.
Not shrink.
Not quit.
Not question if God has left you.
Stand.
Because the enemy doesn’t waste his weapons on people going nowhere.
He saves his fire for those who carry fire.
But here’s the good news:
You don’t fight for victory, you fight from it.
You’ve been seated with Christ.
You’ve been covered by His blood.
You’ve been given armor that doesn’t rust.
A sword that never dulls.
A Spirit who never leaves.
So when the warfare hits
You don’t panic.
You pray.
You worship louder.
You stand firmer.
You speak the Word like a sword, not a suggestion.
Because the enemy can’t take what you won’t hand over.
And hear this:
The battle is not proof that you’re weak.
It’s proof that you’re walking in power.
So keep going.
Keep building.
Keep obeying.
And let the enemy know
If he wanted you to quit, he should’ve never let you survive the last season.
You’re still here.
Still standing.
Still marked.
Still burning.
And if the fire surrounds you
Let it refine you.
Let it remind you
You are chosen, covered, and armed for this.
