Stay Low Shine Bright

It’s one thing to be hidden.
It’s another thing to be seen.
And being seen can be just as much a test as being overlooked.

Because visibility doesn’t just attract opportunity
It exposes what’s been cultivated in the dark.

So when God begins to open doors,
When people begin to notice,
When your voice starts to carry,
When favor starts to flow
Don’t lose your posture.

Because promotion from heaven isn’t a reward for performance.
It’s a trust test.

He’s asking,
“Can I trust you to be seen and still stay surrendered?”

Micah 6:8 says:
“What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

Not walk loudly.
Not walk for applause.
Not walk in entitlement.
But walk humbly.
Even when the crowd cheers.
Even when influence increases.

Because pride will always try to ride on the back of promotion.
But humility keeps Jesus at the center.

So when the door opens—bow lower.
When the favor flows, praise louder.
When the spotlight shines, point to the One who lit the flame.

Let your posture say:
“I didn’t get here by strategy. I got here by surrender.”
“I’m not standing here for attention, I’m standing here because I stayed in the secret.”

Don’t touch the glory.
Don’t chase the platform.
Don’t lose the oil that came from brokenness.

Because visibility isn’t the end goal, obedience is.

And obedience will always pull you lower.
Deeper.
Closer.

So yes, shine.
Shine bright.
Shine boldly.

But stay low.
Keep the towel in your hand.
Keep the altar close.
Keep the cross before you.

Because God raises up those who remember:
The platform is for service.
The gift is for glory.
And the only crown we carry, is one we lay at His feet.
