There were things that used to run in my family,
Pain.
Poverty.
Abuse.
Silence.
Shame.
But that was before I said yes to God.
Because the day I chose healing,
The day I chose obedience,
The day I let Jesus write a new story through me,
The bloodline shifted.
What used to be passed down ends with me.
And what heaven has planned begins right here.
It runs in the family now.
Peace runs in the family now.
Purpose runs in the family now.
Anointing runs in the family now.
Boldness, faith, favor, worship, it all runs in the family now.
Not because I’ve been perfect.
But because I’ve been faithful.
Because I decided that my children, and their children, will not have to heal from what I refused to face.
Psalm 112:1–2 says,
“Blessed is the one who fears the Lord… Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.”
The generation of the upright will be blessed.
That’s what I’m walking in.
That’s what I’m building.
I’m not just praying for blessings… I’m praying through generations.
I’m speaking life over names that haven’t even been born yet.
I’m interceding for granddaughters I’ll never meet and sons I haven’t seen.
Because this blessing isn’t small, it’s generational.
And I don’t need applause.
I don’t need credit.
I just want heaven to know: You can trust me with this line.
I’ll break what needs breaking.
I’ll plant what needs planting.
I’ll fight what needs fighting.
Because I’m not just living for me, I’m living for them.
And the beauty of a generational blessing is this:
It outlives you.
It speaks when you’re gone.
It covers rooms you’ll never walk in.
It opens doors you never touch.
It pours into hearts you never meet.
So I’ll keep showing up.
I’ll keep praying bold prayers.
I’ll keep rejecting what doesn’t align with the promise.
I’ll keep standing in the gap, until the gap becomes a garden.
Because this family line?
It’s drenched in grace now.
It’s covered in glory now.
It’s marked by miracles now.
It runs in the family now.
