Make Me A Vessel You Can Trust

Lord, don’t just use me, trust me.

I don’t want to carry influence if my character can’t handle it.
I don’t want to speak in Your name if my heart isn’t aligned with Yours.
I don’t want to perform publicly and be empty privately.

Make me a vessel You can trust.

Not just with blessing,
But with brokenness.
With the burdens You carry.
With the assignment no one else wants.
With the oil that only flows through crushing.

Because I’ve learned something in this season:
God doesn’t just choose people with talent, He chooses people who are trusted.

People who don’t chase the stage,
People who don’t worship the calling,
People who are just as obedient in the prayer closet as they are in front of a crowd.

People who carry integrity when no one’s looking.

Second Timothy 2:21 says,
“Those who cleanse themselves… will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do any good work.”

That’s the kind of vessel I want to be.
One that’s been purified in the fire.
One that’s not flashy, but faithful.
One that’s not perfect, but postured before the King.

Because I don’t want to just be filled, I want to be trusted to pour.

And pouring comes with cost.
It means loving people who may never say thank you.
It means delivering truth when it’s inconvenient.
It means carrying the weight of the assignment even when no one claps.

But God… You can trust me with that.

You can trust me to stay surrendered when the doors open.
You can trust me to remain humble when the room gets bigger.
You can trust me to keep seeking You when the answers are slow.

I want to be the kind of woman heaven can count on.
The kind of vessel You can hand Your glory to, and know I won’t hoard it.
The kind who doesn’t crack under pressure… because she’s already been crushed at the feet of Jesus.

So if You’re still looking for someone to send,
If You’re still looking for someone to carry the message,
If You’re still looking for someone to steward the weight,

Here I am.

Make me holy.
Make me whole.
Make me ready.
Make me Yours.

Make me a vessel You can trust.
