The Narrow Way

Imagine a farmer who has planted seeds in his field. After the hard work of sowing, the farmer cannot rush the process—he must wait patiently through the seasons for the rain to come and the crops to grow. The farmer stands firm, knowing that with time and care, the harvest will come. Although he cannot control the weather or speed up the growth, his patience is rewarded with a plentiful harvest in due season.

In the same way, James 5:8 calls us to be patient and stand firm, just like the farmer. We must wait with expectancy, trusting that the Lord’s return is near, and our patience will be rewarded.
