The Narrow Way

“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.” (Proverbs 3:7)

Imagine a heart that’s free from the chains of pride, a spirit that walks in humility before God. This verse paints a portrait of such an attitude—an invitation to turn away from self-reliance and instead, revere the Lord.

This verse is a gentle reminder that true wisdom begins with recognizing our limitations and acknowledging God’s limitless wisdom. It’s an exhortation to let go of self-centered wisdom and embrace humility.
