The Narrow Way

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Devotional:

In a world that seems to be constantly changing, it’s easy to become overwhelmed and feel lost. We often try to rely on our own understanding and reasoning to make sense of things, but that can only take us so far. As Christians, we are called to put our trust in the Lord and submit to His ways.

Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not to lean on our own understanding. This means that we need to surrender our own ideas and plans to God and trust in His infinite wisdom and goodness. When we do this, we can rest assured that He will guide us and make our paths straight.

Trusting in the Lord is not always easy, especially when we are faced with difficult situations or decisions. However, when we choose to trust Him, we can experience a peace that surpasses all understanding. We can know that He is with us and that He will never leave us or forsake us.

Choose to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Let us surrender our fears, doubts, and worries to Him and submit to His ways. As we do this, we can have confidence that He will guide us and make our paths straight.

Prayer:

Lord, I choose to trust in you today with all my heart. Help me to surrender my own understanding and submit to Your ways. I trust that you will guide me and make my paths straight. Amen.
