Scripture: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
Devotional:
The love of Jesus is beyond measure. He came to this world to save us, to give us eternal life, and to show us what true love looks like. John 3:16 tells us that God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son. This is the ultimate expression of love.
As Christians, we are called to love one another as Jesus loved us. But how do we do this? The answer is simple: we look to Jesus as our example. He loved everyone, regardless of their background or status. He showed compassion to the sick and the hurting, and He welcomed sinners with open arms.
In 1 John 4:7-8, we are told that “love comes from God” and that “God is love.” This means that when we love others, we are showing the love of God to them. When we forgive those who have hurt us, when we show kindness to our enemies, and when we serve those in need, we are reflecting the love of Jesus.
So today, let us remember the love of Jesus. Let us seek to love others as He loved us, and to show compassion to those who are hurting. Let us be a reflection of His love to the world around us, and let us trust in Him to guide us every step of the way. And may His love fill our hearts and overflow into the lives of those around us.
